Hackers may resort to ‘Vishing’

Security firms have predicted that hackers will resort to ingenious tactics such as ‘Steganography’ and ‘Vanishing’.

Steganography is geek for hiding malicious data in image files to get them across firewalls. The data will then enter the user’s computer and create havoc.

Vishing is phishing for personal information using automated voice calls through mobiles, asking users to divulge personal information. The gullible ones will fall for it.

Websense has also warned for a surge in spam directed at blogs and forums. This  is because email services are effectively blocking spams.
